PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder/grain material carrying device, in which a discharge port of a separation means can be securely opened or closed with a closing means without using a special drive source, so that powder/grain material can be smoothly and favorably sucked/carried to the separation means, or discharged from the separation means. SOLUTION: This powder/grain material carrying device is provided with a suction force generating means to generate suction force for sucking/carrying powder/grain material, a suction nozzle to suck the powder/grain material by the suction force generated by the suction force generating means, and the separation means disposed between the suction force generating means and the suction nozzle to separate the powder/grain material sucked and carried by the suction force generated by the suction force generating means from air to be stored. At the discharge port of the separation means where the powder/grain material separated from air is discharged, the closing means is provided to gas-tightly close the discharge port by the suction force generated by the suction force generating means.
