PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly estimate an arrival direction of a signal with high resolution. SOLUTION: Two effective area antennas 12 and 14, which are rigid wave guide horn antennas having an operation band width equal to or wider than a frequency band width of a ultra-wide-band signal, are arranged and respectively connected to an input side of a wide band hybrid circuit 16 having an operation band width equal to or wider than the frequency band width of the ultra-wide-band signal. The wide band hybrid circuit 16 outputs aΣsignal 26 serving as a sum signal of a pair of antenna output signals 22 and 24, which are input from the two effective area antennas 12 and 14 to the wide band hybrid circuit 16, and aΔsignal 28 serving as a differential signal of a pair of antenna output signals 22 and 24.
