The printer has a print cylinder (2) and ink transfer roller (3) with a roller change device which has a store device (4) with several store places (5) mounted rotatable about a rotational axis wherein an ink transfer roller (3,6,7,8) can be mounted in each store place. The rotational axis of the store device runs parallel to the rotational axis of the print cylinder. A remote-controlled transport mechanism (12) transports the ink transfer rollers between the bearing of the ink transfer rollers and the store unit.
