Disclosed is an apparatus for operating a clutch unit for vehicles which is simply mounted on an existing vehicle, by which a clutch can be more readily operated over a conventional clutch via operation of a clutch pedal. The apparatus comprises: a pressure cutoff valve, a pressure cutoff valve operating button, a pressure distribution valve, a hydraulic cylinder, a booster, a pressure regulating valve and a power cutoff means of the pressure cutoff valve. In a state where pressure from the pressure source is fed to the pressure cutoff valve, the pressure cutoff valve is opened via a power cutoff or clutch disengagement operation when electric power is on so that pressure fed from the pressure source can be fed to the booster via the pressure distribution valve so as to disengage the clutch unit via elevated pressure from the booster, and pressure is discharged out of the pressure cutoff valve to transmit power or engage the clutch. |
