摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of accurately computing the number of steps and reducing its configuration cost. <P>SOLUTION: The inclination direction of an accelerator sensor 100 is calculated by inclination deciding parts 4 to 6 on the basis of X, Y an Z components 1 to 3 from the acceleration sensor 100, and whether acceleration excluding the fluctuating components of the acceleration of the respective X, Y and Z components measured by the acceleration sensor 100 is positive or negative is decided. The fluctuating components of the X, Y and Z components 1 to 3 are inverted or non-inverted by inverting/non-inverting parts 7 to 9 on the basis of the decision result.
