<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display video signals of a plurality of channels while switching them and to detect motion of the channels for efficient display. <P>SOLUTION: The motion detectable video signal switching apparatus comprises: first video signal input means 11-1, 12-1, 13 for inputting video signals of a plurality of channels in a time division manner; first video signal storage means 15-1, 16-1 for storing the video signals in a storage means; a video signal output means 17 for outputting the video signals of the plurality of channels stored in the video signal storage means as consecutive video signals; second video signal input means 11-1, 12-1 for inputting video signals of a plurality of channels in a time division manner; a video signal reduction means 14 for reducing the video signals; second video signal storage means 15-2, 16-2 for storing the reduced video signals in the storage means; and a motion detection means 18 for reading the two or more reduced video signals of different times of one and the same channel, detecting motions and generating motion information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
