<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping system for enabling the social weak such as a visually/audibly impaired person to perform shopping by facilitating suitable countermeasures as a whole including not only shopping itself but also necessary actions accompanied with such actions as shopping. <P>SOLUTION: This shopping system is provided with an information reading means for reading information related with merchandise from an identification slip attached to merchandise, terminal equipment including an announcing means for announcing information associated with the merchandise to the user of the terminal equipment and an image forming apparatus for receiving information related with merchandise transmitted from the terminal equipment, and for executing image formation with the information as contents.
