<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tool such as a correction instrument provided with a backflow preventive which has sufficient resilience, prevents dripping caused in an ink reservoir tube due to a deterioration with age and attachment on the wall generated along with ink consumption, and is not easily deformed by impact. <P>SOLUTION: The coating tool includes, in the ink reservoir tube, an oil-based ink, and a backflow preventive which is in contact with the ink. The backflow preventive moves along the flow of the oil-based ink. The backflow preventive comprises a gel composition containing polyacrylic acid of 1,000,000 or more average molecular weight and a base ingredient comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of diglycerol/ethylene oxide adducts and diglycerol/propylene oxide adducts. The polyacrylic acid is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 3 wt.% based on the total amount of the backflow preventive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
