<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston compressor, capable of reducing the suction resistance of gas at an early stage of a suction stroke without largely forming a conduction passage in a cylinder block. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary valve 35 is used in a suction valve mechanism 55 for the compressor 10. The rotary valve 35 is connected to a compression chamber 26 via the conduction passage 18 formed through the cylinder block 11. The rotary valve 35 is rotated in synchronization with the rotation of a driving shaft 16 to open/close a rotary valve side opening portion 18b of the conduction passage 18. The end of the conduction passage 18 on the side of the compression chamber 26 is opened to an inner peripheral face 23a of a cylinder bore 23 (a compression chamber side opening portion 18a). On the inner peripheral face 23a of the cylinder bore 23, a suction assisting recessed portion 61 is formed. The suction assisting recessed portion 61 is joined at its end on the side of a valve/port forming body 13 to the compression chamber side opening portion 18a of the conduction passage 18 in the peripheral direction of the cylinder bore 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
