PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which improves a signal-to-noise ratio and reduces a circuit scale for that and costs, in an ultrasonic diagnosis. SOLUTION: A filter 50 which filters actual data in a frequency domain (pulse compression) comprises a fast Fourier transformation (FFT) apparatus 52, a complex multiplier 54, a filter characteristic memory 56, and a inverse fast Fourier transformation (IFFT) apparatus 58. The FFT apparatus 52 and the IFFT apparatus 58 have two input parts and two output parts. The filter 50 can increase processing speed by filtering two real signals (two RF (radio frequency) receiver signals obtained by parallel reception) in juxtaposition in the frequency domain. In other words, one real signal is supplied to the real part input of the FFT apparatus 52. The other real signal is supplied to the imaginary part input of the FFT apparatus 52.
