PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten warm-up time of a heating roller that a fixing device etc., of an image forming apparatus is equipped with while increasing energy-saving performance without greatly lowering the strength. SOLUTION: The heating roller 10 of a fixation part 90 of a copying machine 100 heats a fixing belt 91 trained about a fixing roller 92 and circulated by a heater 11, and a communication part 14a linking spaces inside and outside a peripheral wall 14, trained about the fixing belt 91, along the thickness is formed in the peripheral wall 14, which is formed, for example, in honeycomb structure.
