PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method, an image processing device and a program as well as a storing medium by which an image as a whole can be corrected to have a certain level of natural aspect even when correction of lacking areas is not completed before the arrival of the next frame. SOLUTION: Foreign particles or scratches on a document 3 are determined as foreign particles or scratches according to a threshold value which is calculated by a threshold value calculating means 8. Correction of the foreign particles or scratches is executed by a visible image correcting means 11, starting with pixels with foreign particles/scratches exhibiting an intensity near the threshold value and in order, by using their intensity.
