FORMING METHOD OF FLUORESCENT SCREEN FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a fluorescent screen for a cathode-ray tube enabled to pattern a pigment layer without detaching a shadow mask and doing without exposure for forming the pigment layer. SOLUTION: After applying a pigment layer material 3B on a whole inner face of a face panel 1, a phosphor layer material 4B containing ultraviolet curing resin is patterned at any given position on the pigment layer material. Through exposure/development processes, only the patterned phosphor layer material 4B and the pigment layer material 3B located directly under the same 4B are made to remain to form a laminated pattern of a pigment layer 3B' and a phosphor layer 4B'.
