PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a possibility of knocking, if an intake amount or compression ratio is temporally and improperly increased during deceleration of an engine. SOLUTION: A target compression ratio is set depending on accelerator opening (S1), and a target throttle opening is set depending on the accelerator opening (S2). A required torque reduction amount is calculated based on the accelerator opening (S3), and one of the target compression ratio and the target throttle opening is corrected on a reduction side based on the required torque reduction amount (S4).
