PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting device for an eaves edge facilitating the construction work, having an excellent efficiency in melting the snow or an ice pillar on the eaves edge, and preventing freeze of an eaves gutter and a down pipe when needed. SOLUTION: The snow melting device for the eaves edge is structured in a manner that a metal-made snow melting pipe 1 is arranged above and along the eaves gutter 2, a heater wire 5 connected to a power feeding wire 4 inside a connector box 3 is housed in a cover tube 6 and is introduced to the snow melting pipe 1, and the heater wire 5 is wired inside the snow melting pipe 1. Alternatively, a gutter freeze preventing heater wire 50 connected to the power feeding wire 4 inside the connector box 3 is housed in the cover tube 60, which is disposed inside the down pipe 7 and/or at the bottom of the eaves gutter 2.
