PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turn-trap type water closet capable of smoothly draining water even in an external drain pipe of a wall drain type. SOLUTION: In this turn-trap type water closet 30, a trap case 13 is arranged in succession to a drainage channel 12 of a bowl 11 of a closet body 31, and is connected to the drainage channel 12 in the trap case 13, and a trap part 18 vertically rotatable by an electric motor 14 is arranged. The trap part 18 is vertically rotated between a substantially upward turning water supply attitude and a substantially sideways turning drain attitude. A drain pipe part 23 of the trap case 13 is connected to the external drain pipe 24 of a wall drain type, and a bottom surface 23a of the drain pipe part 23 is formed as an inclined face of a downward gradient toward the external drain part 24 from the drainage channel 12 side.
