The invention relates to an adjustable armrest, with a device for adjusting and fixing an arm support, said device comprising at least two essentially parallel tracks (1), each track (1) having at least one slide (2), guided by said track (1), moving along said track (1) and the armrest is directly or indirectly connected to the slides (2), or to the tracks (1).
