SLIP SHEET FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE PRINTING FORM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip sheet for photosensitive printing form material capable of surely preventing a flaw caused on a photosensitive layer and a print defect due to adhesion of paper dust on the photosensitive layer surface and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The slip sheet for protecting the photosensitive layer by covering the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive printing form material has at least one surface of the slip sheet with a surface smoothness of not less than 400 s and a smooth surface of 9A or above in terms of wax pick surface strength. The method of manufacturing the slip sheet for photosensitive printing form material comprises the steps of paper-processing a water slurry of material pulp by using a paper making machine equipped with the metal net and a felt endless belt to make the slip sheet with the smooth surface side on a felt surface side to obtain a wet slip sheet, drying the sheet with the smooth surface side in contact with a heating drum surface of a dryer to obtain a dry slip sheet in a drying process and calendering the smooth surface side of the dry slip sheet in a calender process.
