PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic mesh sheet having a high water holding capacity and having durability enough not to cause the obstruction of the activity of a photocatalyst with the elapse of time. SOLUTION: This hydrophilic mesh sheet includes a sheetlike base material comprising a double raschel fabric, a fluoroplastic resin layer having flexibility formed on the surface of the base material, a polysiloxane resin layer formed on the surface of the fluoroplastic resin layer and a photocatalyst-containing layer formed on the surface of the polysiloxane resin layer.
