PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor which prevents image defects, such as black spots of the organic photoreceptor used in an image forming apparatus of an electrophotographic system, eliminates occurrence of fogging and degradation in image density and has proper sharpness and further, to provide a process cartridge and image forming apparatus which uses the organic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor has at least an intermediate layer and photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, wherein the intermediate layer contains a cured resin formed, by making a reactive resin having an aldehyde content of≤0.5% and having an alkyl alcohol group react.
