PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor, in which lubricating property of lubricating oil is not degraded, sludge is not likely to occur, its hard coating has high adhesion and wear resistance. SOLUTION: The compressor includes at least a cylinder, a roller eccentrically rotating in the cylinder, a vane sliding with the roller along with the eccentric rotation of the roller, and lubricating oil, so as to compress refrigerant. In the compressor, the lubricating oil is one of mineral oil, polyol ester, polyvinyl ether, and polyalkylene glycol, and dynamic viscosity of the lubricating oil at a temperature of 40°C is 20 to 120mm<SP>2</SP>/s. The refrigerant is carbon dioxide gas refrigerant. The vane has a mixed hard coating at a part in contact with the roller, and the mixed hard coating is made of nitride containing Cr and at least a kind of metal selected from a group of Ti, Zr, V, Mo.
