The invention relates to a collapsible pushchair comprising a seat element (1), a backrest (2), a first retaining element (3) for at least one front wheel (5), a second retaining element (4) for at least two rear wheels (6), a pushing device (8) and a collapsing element (7). The seat element (1), backrest (2) and the first (3) and second (4) retaining element are fixed to the collapsing element on one side so that they can pivot about said element (7).
