METHOD FOR MANAGING LICENSE OF CONTENT AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license managing method and a content distributing system for executing the license management of a plurality of resources configuring contents in a batch.

SOLUTION: Each content is configured of one high-order resource (resource referred to at first in contents), at least one low-order resource (resource to be directly or indirectly referred to from the high-order resource) and one start document (information file for executing the license management processing of each resource configuring contents in a batch). The start document is described with at least the reference destination information of the high-order resource and license information for specifying a viewing license necessary for the viewing of each resource configuring the contents. When link information for performing access to other contents is described in each resource, information for performing access to the start document of the other contents is described.
