DETECTION OF SOMATIC CELL MUTATION OF MITOCHONDRIA DNA FOR DETERMINING EFFECT OF ANTICANCER AGENT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating anticancer agent sensitivity of a specimen by using mutation of a mitochondria gene of a specimen as an index and a kit for discriminating anticancer agent sensitivity of the specimen.

SOLUTION: The method for measuring sensitivity of a cell containing a mitochondria DNA of mutation type to an anticancer agent comprises fusing an enucleated cell containing the mitochondria DNA of mutation type with a mitochondria DNA-deficient cell to give a cybrid, culturing the cybrid in the presence of the anticancer agent and assaying the cybrid that caused apoptosis.
