<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device capable of enhancing the braking performance when a brake device is in failure. <P>SOLUTION: The driving force control device is equipped with a target acceleration/deceleration setting means 31 to set the target acceleration/deceleration tACC of a vehicle on the basis of the vehicle driving condition, a target driving torque setting means 40 to set the target driving torque cTDR of the vehicle on the basis of the target acceleration/deceleration, and a driving force distribution setting means 60 to set the target engine torque cTE of an engine and the target gear shift ratio cRATIO of a transmission, wherein the arrangement further includes a brake failure sensing means 3 to sense a failure in a vehicle brake, and in case the target acceleration/deceleration setting means has set a deceleration, a target acceleration/deceleration correcting means 32 corrects the target deceleration set by the setting means to a greater deceleration value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
