PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost zoom lens made to be small-sized without deteriorating imaging performance. SOLUTION: A lens barrel is divided into two parts in an optical axis (CL) direction to form 1st and 2nd lens barrels (1, 2) respectively having at least 1st wall surfaces (1a, 2a) nearly orthogonal to the optical axis (CL) and 2nd wall surfaces (1b, 2b) connected to the the 1st wall surfaces (1a, 2a) and extended in the optical axis (CL) direction and nearly opening at least one face along the optical axis (CL), reflection preventing rib parts (1g, 2g) are formed on the 2nd wall surfaces (1b, 2b), four shafts (8A-8D) are supported from both the end sides by the 1st and 2nd lens barrels (1, 2), and the 1st engagement parts (11a, 11c) of a variable power lens frame (11) and the 2nd engagement parts (15b, 15c) of a focusing lens frame (15) are engaged with different shafts (8a, 8C, 8B, 8D), respectively.
