PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical ferrule that can be manufactured through fewer processes and that is improved in the yield. SOLUTION: The optical ferrule is designed to have a mounting part (5) for attaching the tip end of an optical fiber (7) and an reflection area (13a) for reflecting light emitted from the optical fiber (7) and changing its travelling direction when the optical fiber (7) is attached to the mounting part (5).
