PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device for a vehicle capable of automatically stopping replay of audio signals when a driver needs to concentrate on the only driving and automatically replaying a sequel when the described condition is released. SOLUTION: A stress determination unit 26 determines degree of stress on the basis of signals from a car speed sensor 9, a yaw rate signal 10, a backward moving sensor 11 and a winker switch 27 and the information about a road wherein the vehicle is travelling at present. For example, when turning right or left, it is necessary to pay attention to movement of other vehicles, and it is determined that a high degree of stress is put on a driver, and a replay stop command is output to an audio control unit 28. A cassette tape deck, for example, of the audio device 1 thereby stops replay. After turning right or left, the stress determination unit 25 determines that the stress put on the driver is low, and the audio control unit 28 restarts replay of the cassette tape deck 33.
