PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily and safely improving emotion, consciousness, motivation and behavior of elderly people suffering from dementia. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by using a behavior-improving perfume intended for the elderly people suffering from dementia. The perfume contains at least one essential oil derived from a plant chosen from the group consisting of Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Citrus Paradisi, Jasminum officinale var. grandiflorum and Mentha piperita var. vulgaris.
