PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple reciprocating and turing operation structure of a spanner. SOLUTION: This reciprocating structure of a spanner mainly includes:a spanner body 10 and a smooth part 13. The spanner body is provided with a plum-shaped fitting part 11 at least at one end. A plurality of ratchet tooth profiles 12 are formed on the inner edge of the plum-shaped fitting part, and the tooth profiles achieve the fitting and driving effect of the engagement parts. One end side of the tooth profile is provided with a recessed groove-like engagement fixing part 14, and a circular spring-form elastic part 15 is fitted to the engagement fixing part. The smooth part is provided on the other end side of the tooth profile. The diameter of the smooth part is a little larger than the tooth profile having a ratchet. Since the smooth part is thus formed, the engagement part is fitted to the tooth profile by pressing the part downward, and stored in the smooth part by loosening the force so that the spanner body causes a racing phenomenon to achieve a function of turning operation in the reverse direction.
