The motor vehicle proximity control for acceleration and braking has a radio emitter (F) at the front of the vehicle (A) and a receiver for reflected radio waves from a vehicle (B) in front. A computer controls the vehicle acceleration and braking depending on the reflected wave data. The emitter has a rotary drive to modify the azimuth (alpha) of the emitted beam, following bends in the road. The vehicle headlights can be adaptive to follow the emitter. |
