Control device for an electric motor

The drive device has control logic and an end stage (2), whereby the end stage has current supply connections (3,4) connected by a bridge circuit with semiconductor switches (U+,V+,W+,U+, V-,W-) to motor winding connections (U,V,W) and the switches have control inputs connected to the motor (1) for commutation. The control logic can be set into a test state in which the control inputs of the switch can be controlled in accordance with a defined pattern. An independent claim is also included for an electric circuit for controlling at least two EC motors.
