A dosing assembly for the preparation of dispersion colors has a mixer vessel (1) and a further container (2, 3) for each of the water-based color components. Each further container is linked to the mixer vessel by a pipe (11, 12) whose discharge is regulated by a dosing valve (16, 17). The containers (2, 3) are watertight bags. The watertight bag filling volume is 200-1500 litres. The contents of the mixer vessel are determined by weight and a weighing assembly (18) that is associated with a vibrator unit (19). The assembly has a control unit e.g. computer linked to a printer (25) to print a pricing label.
