The shell (20) is made of an outer steel reinforcing (22) and an inner sliding layer (24). A radial projection (26) at its upper edge serves as a guide during assembly and later as a locking element. In production a die (36) with a sharp cutting edge (40) is guided along the outer surface (22), moving a part of the upper area simultaneously vertically and horizontally (38) against the counteracting elements (32, 34) in order to create a plane upper surface (28) without affecting the sliding surface (24).
