The Peltier effect element (5) is in good thermal contact with an area (6) of the projecting cooling body (3), which is immersed in the liquid from above. It is immersed in about three quarters of the fluid depth. There is a temperature sensor (7) in the region of contact (6), and a temperature controller is included. The unit is modular and can be broken down for cleaning and servicing without tools. The body (3) is separable from the electrical components for this purpose.
