The invention relates to a device for filtering viscous materials, especially plastic melts. Said device comprises a housing (1), a supporting body (3) which is arranged in said housing and has a plurality of through-holes (5) for the viscous material, and a guiding channel (6) which is arranged perpendicularly to the flow direction (X) of the viscous material and receives a filter strip (4) that can be displaced along the supporting body (3) and is used to filter impurities from the viscous material, said guiding channel (6) having an essentially constant thickness (d) on the outflow side thereof. The inventive device also comprises at least one device (16) that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction (Y) of the filter strip (4) and is used to clamp the filter strip (4), said clamping device (16) consisting of at least two clamping jaws (19, 20) which are arranged at least over a large part of the width (b) of the filter strip (4) and between which the filter strip (4) is clamped. The aim of the invention is to be able to transport the filter strip (4), even independently of the pressure of the viscous material on the supporting body (3), and also to create short transport cycles. To this end, the clamping device (16) is arranged downstream of the output (8) of the guiding channel (6), and at least one clamping jaw (20) of the clamping device (16) has a structured clamping surface (23). |
