Method and device for the detection and localisation of non correlated noise sources

The process involves acquiring temporal electrical signals delivered by vibration or acoustic wave sensors (Y1-YN), where each signal is the sum of signals emitted by noise sources (X1-XM). The acquired signals are amplified and filtered. A function involving the coefficients which are function of vectors giving the direction of the sources is calculated. The function is minimized to determine the directions of the sources.
