PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate detection of damage and breakage of a vessel even in a condition of a bad environment of use and to enable application of equipment and a method to a usual vessel manufacturing, vessel washing or chemical filling line or others by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: An air nozzle 11 of a damage detecting part 13 is disposed in the vicinity of a cell unit 10 for carrying a vessel (ampoule or the like) 1. Herein a sound caused by columnar air vibration generated in the vessel 1 by compressed air blown from the air nozzle 11 is detected by a sound collecting microphone 12 of the damage detecting part 13 and a damaged state discriminating part 17 recognizes a damaged state of the vessel 1 on the cell unit 10 on the basis of an electric signal from the sound collecting microphone 12. |
