The lift door operating device for opening and closing a lift car door wing (5) and corresponding shaft door wing has two pivotable adjusting elements (17.1,17.2) and adjustable drive runners (15). A first adjusting element (17.1) or blocking element (22) connected to it has a recess (28) or protrusion radially spaced away from the pivot of the adjusting element and with which interacts a projection (29) of a latch (25) to temporarily block a pivoting movement of the adjusting element in both directions.
