摘要 Effluent gas is washed with an oil which absorbs tars contained in the effluent gas, and data on the start-up is obtained by measuring the quantity of tars absorbed by the oil. The process involves controlling the furnace parameters, introducing the reacting gas into the furnace and extracting an effluent gas containing sub-products of the reaction. Information on the start-up is obtained by a measurement representing the variation over time of the amount of tar absorbed by the oil. The oil is circulated in a closed circuit and the increase in volume of oil is measured. The oil is taken continuously from a tank before being injected into a flow of effluent gas. The oil loaded with tar is returned to the tank and data on the start-up of the process is obtained by measuring the variation in the oil level in the tank. The oil is injected into a flow of effluent gas in an atomizing column or venturi column. The oil is an oil capable of absorbing polycyclical aromatic hydrocarbons contained in the effluent gas and is an aromatic mineral oil. The information obtained on the start-up of the process is used to determine the end of the process, and/or to modify one of the furnace parameters as a function of the information obtained, such as the temperature, pressure, flow of reactant gas and the composition of the reactant gas.
