FIELD: equipment for cutting of movable glass cord into granules, cooling and transporting thereof into accumulating device. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casings, pipeline, toothed wheels, electric engine, gears, shafts, disk-type cutters provided on front casing and positioned for rotation in opposite directions by means of shafts and gears which, in turn, are imparted rotation from inclined pipeline. Adjustable engine is positioned on opposite casing and adapted for imparting rotation to said pipeline through gears and toothed wheel. Also, irrigating water duct is arranged centrally and axially of inclined pipeline, and helical ribs are provided on inner surface of said pipeline. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and improved quality of granules. ^ 3 dwg |
