FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to freight cars designed for carriage of loose loads. Proposed freight gondola car body has frame, double-pitch bottom 1, vertical end face walls 2 and side walls 3 and side discharge hatches 4 with drives. Side vertical walls and side discharge hatches are formed by flat sheets of outer skin with skeleton on inner side. Bottom 1 is tilted to lower end faces of side discharge hatches arranged vertically in lower part of side walls. Frame is formed by double-pitch bottom and beams being made of triangular shape in cross section in place of mounting of cross horizontal and inclined beams of center sill. End face walls of body can be made at tilting with slope to middle of gondola car. ^ EFFECT: provision of complete utilization of volume of gondola car, increased strength and rigidity of body, improved dynamic properties of gondola car. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
