FIELD: food-processing and starch-and-syrup industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of liquid product in form of suspension or solution to roll-type drying unit for forming thin layer, heating, drying and cutting-off the product. Prior to cutting-off dry product, grooves are made on surface of layer at width of 0.5-1.0 mm and depth 0.6-0.8 mm of thickness of layer; they form rectangles at size of sides of 5-15 mm. Roll-type drying unit includes suspension or solution supply device, drying roll and its heating unit. Device is provided with shaft whose surface has linear projections 0.5-1 mm wide forming rectangles at size of sides of 5-15 mm which rotate in parallel with drying roll for its radial motion. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of drying; reduction of cutting-off and blade holding-down forces. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
