FIELD: sports; games; personal protective equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: protective device contains a base element having the U-shaped form, corresponding to a contour of a jaw of the user. The base element contains the top and bottom channels for insertion of the top and bottom rows of teeth of the user. The element of gearing with teeth is united with each channel and made of a material which can be adapted or formed by the user according to his mouth shape. The shock-absorbing unit is united with the base element and serves for absorption of shock loading. The shock-absorbing unit contains open channels in the base element which operate similarly to air springs. The base element is mainly made of the polyethylene mixed with EVA making up to 10% (ethylene vinyl acetate). The EVA additive does the protective adaptation more flexible. The element of gearing with teeth is made from EVA. ^ EFFECT: increase of durability and efficiency of dispersion of energy of blow. ^ 26 cl, 38 dwg |
