FIELD: testing engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: bench comprises load-bearing frame with bearing members for securing the pin of the pivot, two power actuators for producing dynamical loading of the ball pivots in the longitudinal and transverse directions with respect to the axis of the pin, two actuators for generating working movements, i.e. rotating the pin and rocking the housing of the pivot. The bench has fluid-pressure operated cylinders of double action that provide controllable load. The mechanism for rocking the housings of the pivots is made of a traverse with seats for the housings of two ball pivots and is mounted at the middle of the traverse by means of a bearing unit to exclude interaction between the loading in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The bearings for rocking the traverse are made of the spheres of the pivots to be tested, and the centers of the pivot spheres and axis of the release unit are aligned. ^ EFFECT: simplified structure. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
