FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst converter contains housing with external and internal ceramet walls installed with clearance and serving as heat insulation, end face walls, inlet and outlet branch pipes, soot filter coaxial with porous ceramet oxidizing and reducing catalytic units arranged in series relative to inlet branch pipe, partition dividing, together with said units, inner space formed by inner surface of ceramet walls and inner surfaces of end face walls into separate spaces, exhaust gas reverse flow manifold, nozzle installed in exhaust gas reverse flow manifold, and pickups. Inlet and outlet branch pipes are made in form of hollow cups with holes in bottoms and two pairs of ports in side walls. Turnable cups with two pairs of ports and blind cross partitions are arranged in hollow cups, being connected through holes in bottoms of hollow turnable lever of operating mechanism. Converter is furnished is furnished additional with inlet and outlet pipes with blind cross end face walls and pairs of ports for connecting through connecting pipes to ports of inlet and outlet branch pipes and through ports in turnable cups with exhaust gas reverse flow manifold and exhaust gas direct flow manifold introduced intro converter. ^ EFFECT: provision of convenient operation of catalyst converter and automatic regeneration without shutting down the engine. ^ 1 dwg |
