PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer, the carrier having capability of imparting appropriate and stable charging property to toner without depending on changes in environment such as humidity and temperature, the carrier having structure with durability to keep the above ability for a long period of time, the structure having capability to prevent spent on the carrier surface due to toner for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer has a resin coating layer formed on the surface of a core material, the resin layer having conductive fine powder and composite resin particles containing at least inorganic particles dispersed in a matrix resin.
