摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stress measuring method or the like for measuring stresses generated in a first member and a second member of a measuring object containing the first member comprising the first composite material with alumina crystal particles dispersed therein and a second member comprising the second composite material with an alumina ceramic material or alumina crystal particles dispersed therein. SOLUTION: A sample 10 is a laminate sintered concurrently with layers 1, 3 comprising an alumina-zirconia composite material containing much alumina, and a layer 2 comprising an alumina-zirconia composite material containing much zirconia. A relation between a stress value and a wave number value of a fluorescence peak is found preliminarily using the first and second reference samples SB1, SB2 having compositions the same to those of the layers 1, 3 or the layer 2, utilizing the wave number value of the fluorescence peak emitted by Cr<SP>3+</SP>ion in the alumina crystal particle is varied by the stress when irradiated with a laser beam. Each portion within the laminate is irradiated further with the laser beam, and the stress value generated in the each portion is measured based on the obtained wave number value of the fluorescence peak.
