Each track has a series of balls mounted therein, the lefthand track receiving the balls 2 of large diameter, the right-hand track receiving the balls 4 of small diameter, and the middle track receiving the balls 3 of a diameter intermediate the diameters of balls 2 and 4. An outer race 5 engages the balls, which have a diameter less than the width of the track in which they are retained, and a cage may be provided.</p> |
