PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and to facilitate the work of attachment and position adjustment in an assembly process in the fixing structure of a collimator lens of an optical pickup device. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 1 is composed by attaching a plurality of optical components to a base frame 10 and reproduces or records data by irradiating the recording surface of an optical disk with a laser beam. While a lens holder 20 which holds the collimator lens 21 among the plurality of optical components and for which spring parts 23 and 24 for generating elasticity by deformation are integrally formed is provided, the base frame 10 is provided with a housing hole 12 to which the lens holder 20 can be inserted and which is provided with positioning abutting surfaces 121A and 121B for positioning the lens holder 20 slidably in one direction and a spring abutting surface 122 for receiving the spring parts 23 and 24.
